Awesome python completion module for gedit would be nice indeed.
What I want for Christmas is simple:
Being able to adjust application sound volumes and choose output device via volume drop-down.

Sound working.
Me, too (for the sound output device switcher). Is there an issue-id I can give to Santa?
To clarify: you want to integrate those features of pavucontrol into gnome-volume-control-applet? That’d be nice.
My personal pair of sound-related wishes: make pavucontrol notice other PulseAudio devices in the local network reliably (currently I have to jog its attention by running paprefs, twice: once to disable that feature, the second time to reenable it), making pulseaudio not stutter constantly when playing sound to a PA sink over WiFi.
Personally, I want the application volume control to live in the window decoration for the application itself. If I have two firefox windows, both with youtube videos playing, I don’t know how to choose between “ALSA plug-in [npviewer.bin]” and “ALSA plug-in [npviewer.bin]”.
I do not know whether or not this module is awesome.
